Franklin Penny (trumpet/vocalist) is honoured to salute traditional pop commercial trumpet players from the Big Band Era and beyond. This very special event will showcase the music of artists such as Harry James, Bobb Hackett, Ray Anthony and Chet Baker accompanied by the Award Winning Big Band ‘Sophisticated Swing’.

Franklin can be seen on-camera performing between Matthew McConaughey, Kate Hudson, and Marvin Hamlisch in the Paramount Pictures release “How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days”. Franklin is also viewed on-camera in the CBS Movie ‘ Martin & Lewis’ in the CopaCabana scene with Sean Hayes as Jerry Lewis.
